“President Ronnie has been kidnapped by the ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue Ronnie?” was the opening quote, the president, ninjas, damn right! It was so 80’s it was painful.
No to worry though, also typical of the 80’s, the ninjas go down with one punch, apart from the bosses that were almost immortal.
Just when you were getting into the game. At the end of each level our boys [Striker & Blade] would strike a pose & proclaim “i’m bad!”.
If you made it to this end of the coin muncher, the President takes you for a burger. Worth every minute!
Where it might have missed out on combos & complexity it still ranked itself as a legend with its cheesy rhetoric.
