It doesn’t get any more classic than this! It was basically the start of success in the genre.
The game went through a re-boot recently with a [control blighted] iPhone version in 2011. It had re-vamped graphics & sound, while stayed faithful to the original. Then in 2012 there was the badly received but truly crazy 3d Double Dragon Neon on PS3 & 360.
Not only did the original arcade machine take more of my pocket money than any other machine, it also introduced us to multiple weapons, kneeing bad guys in the head & twins that loved the same woman?! If you got to the end in two player, you actually had to fight each other for her!
