You may have fond memories this game, but it’s probably the most sadistic machine ever!
The protagonist is charged to mine out an area. Being the 80’s lethal force was to be used on all indigenous species (sounds like the Avatar but that’s where the nice blue people film analogy stops).
He is armed with a hollow harpoon with which he lances then inflates the local inhabitants till they explode. The last of which would try to escape, with extra points if you got him!
He could also the local boulders to kill the wildlife (if he got bored of inflation).
Interestingly the games last level was 256 where an enemy would spawn on top of you with no way of defending yourself. So the programmer did grow a conscience in the end.
This legend pumped his way to being the sixth most popular arcade machine ever!
